For any medical emergency always call 911. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are provided to residents in need. Crockett County takes great care of patients with their excellent ambulance service.

For animal control services, please contact the County Animal Shelter at 731-696-5399.
Utilities
The County-wide Utility District, which is independent of Crockett County Government, provides water service to several unincorporated areas, Gadsden, and some areas outside of the County line in both Madison and Dyer Counties. The County does not provide sewer service; therefore, septic is the only option in unincorporated areas. Additional utility information can be found here:
Waste Management
Solid waste collection is provided by Crockett Mills, Alamo, Bells, Maury City, and Friendship. The County-wide Utility District offers four solid waste convenience centers for drop-off. Convenience centers are free to all County residents.
Street Maintenance
The Crockett County Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance of county roads. They can be reached at 731-696-2244. Contact TDOT for other road-related inquiries. (link to TDOT)
